Children and teenagers at an Elstree school were treated to a special visit from the Israeli Ambassador yesterday.
Daniel Taub visited Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys School, in Butterfly Lane, after being invited by the Habs Jewish Society.
A former Habs pupil himself, Mr Taub reminisced about his days spent at the school, between 1969 and 1980.
He also told the students about his involvement with the Israeli Palestinian peace process, and his time in the military as a combat medic in the Israeli Defence Force.
