Spooky creatures storm Borehamwood at party
Spooky witches, demons and ghouls stormed the Leeming area last night after a Halloween party.
Parents were left feeling terrified by children who took part in spooky activities such as a slimy mystery box game at the Big Community Shop, in Leeming Road, Borehamwood.
Over 150 children attended the event, where they were also given the chance to have their faces painted, bob for apples and decorate cupcakes.
Shanie Hutton, manager of the Big Community Shop, said: “We felt that having a Halloween party was a great way for families to get together and get to know what is going on in their community.
“I would like to thank all the volunteers that helped make this party a true success.”
The event, sponsored by Community Action Hertsmere, was sponsored by Tesco in Shenley Road who provided free food for the event.
