Peace Hospice Radlett Support Group visit Houses of Parliament

Members of a support network took a trip to the Houses of Parliament last week.

 The Peace Hospice Radlett Support Group was given the chance to tour the famous Palace of Westminster, visiting the chambers of the House of Lords and the House of Commons.

They were met by Hertsmere MP James Clappison who acted as their host for the day.

Brenda Griffiths, a member of the group who organised the event, said: “We are indebted to James Clappison and those who arranged the tours for us, and John Apthorpe Trust who sponsored our travel.

“This means that our trip was successful historically and socially”.
