The religious works of art will be displayed around the church.
Artists donned their paintbrushes when they help paint religious icons last weekend.
People gathered at St Pauls Lutheran Church, in St Pauls Way, Borehamwood, for the iconography workshop on Saturday, October 27.
The religious works of art, which are paintings of Saints in the Bible, will be displayed around the church.
Pastor David Jackson said the event, lead by iconographer Fadi Mikhail, was a “roaring success”.
He added: “I was very impressed with some of the icons that were painted. Everyone had a great time.
“Mr Mikhail was fantastic. He taught us step-by-step methods on how to paint our icons.
“We had a whole range of people at the event, from pensioners to students, so it was nice to see all types of people getting involved.”
