A Radlett mum who gave birth to her daughter when she was eight months pregnant is hosting a fundraiser to raise cash for World Prematurity Day.
Rebekah Habib, who lost her husband Gulam when she was five months pregnant, gave birth to Sorayah by emergency caesarian due to a problem with the umbilical cord.
The widow has since dedicated her life to fundraising so set up HertsPrems, to raise cash for Watford General Hospital, where her now one-year-old daughter was born.
Members of the group, who have already raised more than £6,000 for the hospital, are now getting ready to host a dinner and dance event.
People are invited to help their cause at Blue Check Restaurant, in High Street, Bushey, on Friday, November 16 - the day before World Prematurity Day.
