Ofsted rates Kool Kidz nursery, Radlett, 'good'

Children and teachers at a Radlett nursery are celebrating after receiving a ‘good’ rating from education watchdog Ofsted.

Kool Kidz, in Watling Street, was inspected in September just six months after the centre opened.

Ayelet Landsman, the manager of the school said she was “over the moon” with the rating.

She added: “It is a real pat on the back of us – it shows not only how wonderful our children are, but also the hard work put in by staff.

“Although it is not outstanding, we felt that it was the best we could do given how new we are.”

The Kool Kidz sister centre, in Edgware, has been rated outstanding in the past and staff are now looking to achieve this score in Radlett the next time round.

According to the report, staff have a “good knowledge Early Years Foundation stage, and have a range of qualifications and experiences that enable them to make the most of any opportunity, to promote children’s learning through play, individual support and activities
