The children learning drums
Children bopped to the beat of the drum at an African workshop yesterday morning.
The children, from Parkside Primary School, in Aycliffe Road, Borehamwood, were treated to a cultural session from Masai African Arts Group.
The three to six-year-olds learnt how to play the African drums as well as learn to sing traditional songs.
Reception teacher Georgina Mateides said: “The kids all had a great time and it was fantastic seeing them all get involved.
“They all got into the swing of it and afterwards said they really enjoyed themselves, it was really nice to see.”
