Thanks to the 224 people of Cowley Hill ward for their unwavering support at the local elections.
The Socialist Labour Party vote held up commendably well. However despite the low turnout it was heartening
to observe younger people
questioning and taking an interest.
For those who are not on the voting register or couldn't be bothered to vote I would commend to them the comment of Leonardo da Vinci: "Nothing strengthens authority as much as silence."
It cannot possibly be in
working people's best interests to be so.
