Is it just me or are
the state of some Borehamwood roads, such as Aycliffe Road, just beyond repair.
I bought a new car last
May and the pot
holes are so bad I have had to have its tracking checked four times.
I have complained to Hertfordshire Highways, but all they tell me is that the road surface is
subsiding.
Unfortunatly, the budget for repairing roads is not based on need, but who you voted for. If you have a Labour MP and/or a Labour council, you will be rewarded by getting a bigger council grant.
However, even Labour areas are now under threat from what has become the "anti-motorist" party. If every penny Gordon Brown took off motorist in tax was put back in to the roads, we would have the best in Europe.
