VICTIMS of Alzheimer's disease were remembered as more than 30 people joined a three-mile walk in their memory.
The Memory Walk, staged by the Alzheimer's Society for South Bucks, took place in Marlow as members of the society and those who joined them, met in Court Garden Leisure Complex.
A memorial service for victims was conducted by the Reverend Martin Courtney of Flackwell Heath before walkers went on their route from Marlow out to Temple Lock and back.
They were joined by Marlow Mayor, Cllr Roger Wilson.
Many dedicated their walk to relatives or friends by displaying pictures and messages on a memory board. The walk, held last week, followed the River Thames to Temple and attracted some welcome faces.
Chairman of the society, Kari Dorme, said: "I was pleased at the number of people who had taken part in the walk and particularly because it attracted some new carers and former carers. It was a lovely afternoon and everyone appeared to welcome the opportunity to remember their relatives and friends in such a pleasant way."
