The unpredictable (and sometimes downright hostile) weather will not stand in the way of this year’s East Barnet Festival, which is promising a programme that is bigger and better than ever.
If the heavens open, the Dogs in the Park show on Saturday, July 7 and the Cars in the Park show on Sunday 8 will move closer to the Café in the Park, but bring your umbrellas and wellies for the rest of the events.
Highlights include the funfair, everything on the music, acoustic and start-up music stages, Big Top Dance, the market hall, Gazebo Street, Children’s World and Cinema in the Park.
There will also be food from all over the world, a bar, and sports in the form of football and a skateboard park. And that’s just a taster of what’s on offer – you’ll have to go along for yourself to see the full range of activities.
East Barnet Festival is at Oak Hill Park, East Barnet Village from Friday, July 6 to Sunday, July 8. Details: 020 8359 7828, www.eastbarnetfestival.org.uk
