New generation: The Jerusalem Quartet play at The Henrietta Barnett School

The Jerusalem Quartet continue to be in great demand as a dynamic classical music quartet, made up of two violinists, a viola and a cello player.
This year, they will perform at the Bath International Mozart Festival and begin an Australian tour in October. The Jerusalem Quartet have released two Shostakovich recordings, and a CD of music by Haydn, in spring 2004.
The quartet have received several music awards, including the Dutch Music Prize for the chamber music section in 2007 and the first Borletti-Buitoni Trust Award in 2003.
They were part of the first BBC
New Generation Artists scheme between 1999 and 2001.
