Comedy Night at Chickenshed
A fantastic evening featuring Samia Rida, Patrick Turpin, Amy Howerska and Matthew Highton. Final acts to be announced in January 2018.

Samia was forced into stand up by Gareth Edwards, producer of 'That Mitchell & Webb Look' and 'Spaced', whilst he was mentoring her as a tired actor and writer with a victim complex. She was famous in Scotland for a time when she played a regular lead in their soap, sorry continuing drama, 'River City'. She has also made a lot of funny films, some of which have been on the telly and were shot by Robbie Ryan. He shot 'I, Daniel Blake' - I know, impressive right. She has now developed a co-dependent love for stand-up which has taken her to venues such as Bearcat, The Comedy Pub and Comedy Cafe.

Patrick Turpin is a comedy writer/performer. He made his television debut in 2016 as a principle cast member in 4Music sketch show - Pop Sludge, having won acclaim earlier that year for his second solo live show - To Me, You Are Perfect.
