Big Brother fans Paul Burton and Paul Wilder and reporter Su Sharma give the low-down on the latest antics of the housemates in Borehamwood's most famous house.

Falling at the final hurdle

By Suruchi Sharma »

I love mid-week evictions. You’re almost at the end of the race and someone falls at the last hurdle. It’s always amusing because you see the rather pained look in their eyes when they realize they have been fooling themselves about winning. They could have won the race outright but didn’t because the public didn’t like them enough. Harsh but true.

Yesterday, Ivana said she didn’t care but she clearly did. Nicola T just didn’t seem to cotton on to the fact she had left. That is the lot of people who are made to leave the house without any prior warning. She’ll need some sort of closure, poor girl!

Apart from the housemates, the main star in the show for me was the Tree of Temptation. It was a fabulous addition to the house especially the way it goaded people into doing what it wanted.

So who could win? Vinnie just doesn’t do it for me anymore. He has become a little too cocky. I respected him a lot more in his earlier days in the house. One thing that I do adore about him is when he calls Alex Reid “Rocky” all the time.

Dane Bowers has proved to be less of a tool than everyone supposed him to be. Alex Reid, by not being Jordan’s shadow, has proved to be quite a humble, caring man. Is this an act?

Stephanie has proved to be the most fun in the house. She is quirky, a giggler and has got on with everyone apart from maybe Lady Sovereign. I think the dark horse in all of this is Jonas as he has a following probably bigger than Alex, Dane and Stephanie’s fans. He has appeared fun and may win.

Well, we'll find out tomorrow. Fingers crossed it won't rain in Borehamwood!
