Hertsmere Tory loses to Lib Dems
THE Liberal Democrats in Hertsmere gained a seat from the Conservatives when Kim Boughton beat Carey Keates in Bushey St James with 1,058 votes to 999. The turnout was 42 per cent.
However, the Conservatives held on to Bushey Heath where Seamus Quilty gained 1,425 with a 40 per cent turnout.
Conservative Spencer Pitfield held Bushey Park with 842 votes. The turnout was 46 per cent.
