Canon Simon Pothen Precentor of Chelmsford Cathedral, died peacefully on 13 November 2017 at the age of 57, following a diagnosis of bile duct cancer early in 2017. His funeral Eucharist will take place at Chelmsford Cathedral on Thursday 7 December at 11 am. For further details please visit chelmsfordcathedral .org.uk.
