A man was a victim of anti-Semitic abuse along Deacons Hill Road.
On December 5, at around 1.10pm a person driving a white Ford Transit van along Deacons Hill Road, Borehamwood, wound down their window and shouted offensive language towards a 50-year-old man.
Police have said that the alleged abuse was anti-Semitic.
A 26-year-old man from Borehamwood was interviewed under caution and investigations are on-going.
Dave Rich, deputy director of communications at Community Security Trust, said: "The antisemitic abuse that was shouted was grossly offensive and alarming for the victims.
"This kind of abuse is never acceptable and we call on anybody who witnessed this incident, or who has any information about it, to contact the police.”
Anyone with information should contact Hertfordshire Constabulary on their non-emergency number 101.
